:hihi I had D&C 6 weeks ago. Before preg I was not ovulating regulary because of low progesterone. I was given drugs that made me to ov and conceive the very same month. I never took any progest suppliments since I got a pos preg. However I have been reading and hearing that one can m/c if the prog levels are low during preg. My dr just suggested this but did not do another test. She gave me another drug to take when ttc again on the basis of the results before pregnant. After I took the first drug prog levels were still low. Dr thought I could not have been preg with such levels. So she prescribed another cause, I realised after 5 days that I was preg, so I didnt take the other course since its written not to be taken when preg. With all this the dr who did D&C thought I m/c because of low prog levels. He however talked about the suppliments but said I should be seen by the 1st DR. Now that I am about to start trying I need to know when I can start taking the suppliments. I started taking Folic Acid a month ago. Is there anyone with an answer. I would guess that you would take it after ovulation. I was worried to take them
because all the papers the pharmacists give you concerning progesterone says
"do not take if you are pregnant" I was so worried about it, I called my RE just
to make sure I was supposed to take them and she said I was supposed to.
