I live in North Florida and I would suggest St. Augustine. My husband, daughter and I went last year. There are tons of things to do there. Ripley's museum, shopping and if you like ghost stories and what not, that is the best place to go as there a supposedly quite a few haunted places. We took a ghost tour ourselves and it was good. Make sure it is Historic St Augustine.
