Default South Carolina Families, Introduce Yourselves

As Families.com is growing, we thought it would be fun for families to be able to find, network with and make friends with other families in their area. These families could talk about local issues, local events, local support groups, local politics and other issues specific to that location. These families could share reviews of restaurants, doctors, schools, politicians, parks and other businesses. We thought it would be nice to know which businesses and services other families liked and disliked. These families could provide reviews of local entertainment, culture and other attractions for other families who might take a vacation to that area. The families could have online garage sales or give away hand-me-down items to other families in the area who might be able to use them. These families could form local support groups, get together and go out to lunch (keeping safety issues in mind), or come together to support a local good cause.

This is our vision for the Families.com Local area. We encourage everyone to start off by introducing themselves on their local forum. Share whatever you feel comfortable and appropriate. What do you like to do for fun? Tell us about your family. Why do you come to Families.com? What kind of friends would you like to meet? What are your favorite things about the area where you live? What are your least favorite? Where is your absolute favorite place to eat? Help us start this local support and networking forum in your area.

Hi! I'm Jonna.. I actually know LilMomma
I live in Greer, SC. I work full time for Spartanburg County as a computer programmer and then go home to my other full time job as Mommy-Wife. I wouldn't change it for a thing in the world, well okay, maybe I'd work from home if I could.

I love coffee, generally just chit chatting and getting around town and doing anything new!

Talking Boiling Springs, SC Member

I am a mother of 5 girls, military wife and a student at Sherman Chiropractic College. I am in Boiling Springs, SC (Spartanburg). I stumbled onto this site googling coupons. Love the site!! Really neat to see people couponing it like myself. As a mother of 5, I will try to post what specials I run across when I can.

Would love to figure out how to run the ticker. I still do not understand how to use some of the links in this site. Any help?

Hi, I am new to the families.com site. I am doing research on Methadone deaths. If you know of anyone who has died due to this drug I would like to hear about it. My 24 yr old son died on June 11, 2006 after being prescribed this drug by a doctor for pain. I since found that thousands of people are dying every year and nothing is being done. Thanks, Nancy
