Default Missouri Families, Introduce Yourselves

As Families.com is growing, we thought it would be fun for families to be able to find, network with and make friends with other families in their area. These families could talk about local issues, local events, local support groups, local politics and other issues specific to that location. These families could share reviews of restaurants, doctors, schools, politicians, parks and other businesses. We thought it would be nice to know which businesses and services other families liked and disliked. These families could provide reviews of local entertainment, culture and other attractions for other families who might take a vacation to that area. The families could have online garage sales or give away hand-me-down items to other families in the area who might be able to use them. These families could form local support groups, get together and go out to lunch (keeping safety issues in mind), or come together to support a local good cause.

This is our vision for the Families.com Local area. We encourage everyone to start off by introducing themselves on their local forum. Share whatever you feel comfortable and appropriate. What do you like to do for fun? Tell us about your family. Why do you come to Families.com? What kind of friends would you like to meet? What are your favorite things about the area where you live? What are your least favorite? Where is your absolute favorite place to eat? Help us start this local support and networking forum in your area.

Hello! I am from St. Louis, but currently live right outside of it. I have been couponing big-time for close to two years and hope to beat my totals from last year (rebates, grocery totals, coupons used, etc.). Happy couponing everyone!

Talking Hello from Ballwin!

Hi! I am brand new to this forum and I live in Ballwin, Missouri. I am looking for people in the area to trade Entertainment book coupons - I have four books and I am willing to trade almost any of the coupons (other than the ones I'm requesting). Please let me know if you are willing to trade these or other coupons. My wife and I just had a baby girl (January) and are always in search of baby coupons or deals.
Thanks,
Chris

Hello Missouri! I am a family historian and need to find a family related to a William McKay "way back when" from maybe Miller, Benton, Hickory or McDonald County.........would any of you know of such a family? Are any of you interested in this hobby? Sure would appreciate any help! We went through your beautiful state a few years ago looking for records, etc.......my stars! Did the Civil War leave ANY of your court houses intact?? What a sad thing. My gg grandfather, James L. Evans, is buried somewhere around Quincy but we couldn't find him.......too many places to look. He died 1862......shot in his home by Union Soldiers. (Some say he was a member of Quantrill's Raiders.......). Sure would love to here from some of you! .........God Bless and thanks for being "out there!" Love from Joanne in Idaho!

Default Hi Missouri neigbors!

Hi I am born and raised in Missouri. I live in the rural area, closest towns are Ava/Sparta/Springfield. I love the rural countryside, the creeks, and the woods. Growed up playing in the forts we'd make in the woods, and catching crawdads in the creeks! Riding our horses until dark was my favorite past time.Hope to meet alot of people who live here!
