Default Massachusetts Families, Introduce Yourselves

As Families.com is growing, we thought it would be fun for families to be able to find, network with and make friends with other families in their area. These families could talk about local issues, local events, local support groups, local politics and other issues specific to that location. These families could share reviews of restaurants, doctors, schools, politicians, parks and other businesses. We thought it would be nice to know which businesses and services other families liked and disliked. These families could provide reviews of local entertainment, culture and other attractions for other families who might take a vacation to that area. The families could have online garage sales or give away hand-me-down items to other families in the area who might be able to use them. These families could form local support groups, get together and go out to lunch (keeping safety issues in mind), or come together to support a local good cause.

This is our vision for the Families.com Local area. We encourage everyone to start off by introducing themselves on their local forum. Share whatever you feel comfortable and appropriate. What do you like to do for fun? Tell us about your family. Why do you come to Families.com? What kind of friends would you like to meet? What are your favorite things about the area where you live? What are your least favorite? Where is your absolute favorite place to eat? Help us start this local support and networking forum in your area.

Default Hi

We live in Southeastern MA, not too far from the Cape, not too far from Boston. We have two children, ages 7 and 2 1/2-- we love to take advantage of free passes, such as to the Aquarium, Museum of Science, Easton Childrens Museum, etc. Edaville RR is great, both in the summer and winter--during the holiday season they have lights up, and it's great! We don't get out to eat much, so I'm not sure I have a favorite.
Looking forward to reading about others in the area.

Default Massachusetts Greetings

Hi There! I'm a Massachusetts native, 26 years old, and married for 2+ years. I am currently living in the Concord area, but planning on moving closer to Worcester soon (possibly buying my first home!). My husband and I were born and raised here and love the state. We really enjoy discovering the wonderful things New England has to offer and exploring towns and hidden treasures we haven't been to before.

Hi,
My husband and I are pregnant with our first child, a baby boy named Jake who is due August 23rd! We live in Quincy, Massachusetts. We are looking to meet people in or around the area.
We are considered a high risk pregnancy, but our baby appears to be very healthy.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi all! I am 42 and live in Worcester. I have a 5 yr old daughter who just started kindergarten. We have been together 24/7 so this is hard for both of us... I have greyhounds and various other critters, but my daughter is everything.
